Cancellation & Refund Policy

We're a small family business — every cancellation impacts our calendar. This policy explains what's refundable and when. It applies to all confirmed RoamXRV reservations.
Cancellation Windows
- 60+ days before pickup: full refund of all amounts paid, minus a non-refundable booking fee (stated on your quote).
- 30–59 days before pickup: 50% refund of all amounts paid.
- Less than 30 days before pickup: no refund. Reservation fees, deposits, and rental balance are forfeited.
- No-show or early return: no refund for unused nights.
How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of cancellation confirmation. Processor fees may be deducted.
Changes to Your Reservation
Date changes are accommodated when possible. Requests made 30+ daysbefore pickup are free of charge. Requests made within 30 days are treated as a cancellation and rebooking under the policy above.
Cancellations by RoamXRV
If we must cancel your reservation due to mechanical issues, damage from a prior renter, or other circumstances outside your control, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. Our liability is limited to that refund and does not extend to incidental expenses (flights, campground bookings, lost wages, etc.).
Weather, Hurricanes & Force Majeure
Florida weather is unpredictable. We do not issue refunds for rain, heat, cold, hurricanes, evacuations, road closures, campground closures, fuel shortages, public-health orders, or other events outside our control. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance.
Trip Insurance
Third-party trip insurance is available from many providers and typically covers cancellations for covered reasons such as illness, jury duty, or family emergencies. We are not affiliated with any insurer and don't earn commissions.
